Since 1992, with the Global Forum, the People’s Summit has emerged as a powerful cry of resistance, echoing the voices silenced by the politics of the powerful. While official COPs continue to focus on numbers and goals, the Summit speaks of struggles, hope, rights, and territories. Here, we are building a future based on social, environmental, and ecological justice, demonstrating that our struggle is urgent, necessary, and indispensable for life. To return to acting globally as a single, great movement toward COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

This is why movements in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania have built concrete paths led by local communities. In Europe, much remains to be done. In Italy, we have begun this grassroots journey, aiming to demonstrate solidarity and build alliances with other movements across Europe. This will be our path!
